“Business leaders in Yakima are concerned our city could face similar problems Seattle is dealing with due to the homeless crisis there.
The concern comes as KIMA aired a special called, “The Fight for the Soul of Seattle.”
It’s the documentary produced by KOMO News that brought some local leaders to tears.
“Because I think one of the points of that film that was the most impactful for me, was that we are losing our humanity,” said Verlynn Best, CEO of the Yakima Chamber of Commerce.”
